2011 Kawasaki ATV KXF450R:

2011 Kawasaki KXF450R

2011 Kawasaki KXF450
2011 Kawasaki KFX450R:

A full featured sport ATV with race ready technology

You’ll know you’re on a muscular ride from the moment you thumb the KFX450R’s electric starter. With its lightweight aluminum frame, long lower front A-arm suspension and a fully adjustable rear shock, this ATV offers track dominating handling and confidence-inspiring stability to compliment its powerful engine.

Sharing engine DNA with the highly acclaimed KX450F motocrosser, the KFX450R is ready to race. Equipped with titanium valves to keep reciprocating weight low, the engine is fitted with a highly responsive 32-bit digital fuel injection (DFI) system that automatically compensates for temperature or altitude. DFI enhances the KFX450R’s ability to translate its four-stroke power into outstanding thrust, with easily accessible torque in the low- and medium-rpm ranges.

The fast and reliable KFX450R also includes a lightweight reverse gear system integrated with its five-speed manual transmission. The KFX450R’s reverse gear allows riders to quickly and easily extricate themselves from first turn chaos, trail bottlenecks or any other on-track incident, using the normal shift lever, plus a convenient handlebar mounted lock-out lever.

Built to handle tough trail conditions and win races, the KFX450R’s lightweight all-aluminum frame has both incredible stiffness and significant strength. The high-tech chassis also provides a low center of gravity and excellent roll resistance for higher corner speeds and race-level handling.

The front suspension design utilizes long lower A-arms mounted to a single box-section lower frame tube, paired with dual-rate front springs for excellent rough-terrain handling. In the rear, an adjustable shock with low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping adjustability is mated to a cast aluminum swingarm that offers the ideal balance of flexibility and rigidity. Regardless of track surfaces or conditions, this race-oriented chassis makes the KFX450R a potent weapon.

The KFX450R is easy to work on, so owners can spend more time in the dirt than in the garage. The two-piece front and rear “lapped” fenders make it easier to customize the size of the fenders or quickly replace damaged sections. Even the headlight assembly is quickly detachable for closed-course races — this ATV looks just as aggressive with or without headlights. These features leave little doubt that the KFX450R was designed to be on the track and winning races as quickly as possible.

Owners can customize their KFX450R, using a full line of Authentic Kawasaki Accessories from their local Kawasaki dealer.

2011 Kawasaki ATV Brute Force 650:

2011 Kawasaki Brute Force 650
2011 Kawasaki Brute Force 650 4x4:

V-twin grunt with an economical sticker price

Combining impressive power and a sensible price, the Brute Force 650 4x4 ATV offers outstanding value. The fact that its well-balanced V-twin, capable 4x4 system and nimble handling are offered for about the same price as the 500cc crowd makes it a favorite with practical minded riders who demand premium performance.

The 633cc 90-degree V-twin engine gives the rider industry-leading torque and a smooth power delivery that’s unrivaled by the competition. Dual 32mm Keihin carburetors draw fresh air from a snorkel intake located high in the frame near the steering head, reducing the amount of contaminants entering the intake.

The robust V-twin engine is mated to the Kawasaki Automatic Powerdrive System (KAPS) continuously variable transmission (CVT). With low and high range, neutral and reverse, this dependable transmission functions seamlessly, providing excellent control for both low- and high-speed work or recreational riding. Additionally, the Brute Force 650 4x4 can be started in any gear, as long as one of the brakes is applied.

Power is delivered to the wheels through dependable, low-maintenance shaft drive contained in a lightweight aluminum swingarm. The rider can select two- or four-wheel drive operation via a switch conveniently mounted on the right handle bar. In normal four-wheel drive mode, the front wheels provide extra traction for adverse terrain, while the limited-slip differential allows the rider to make tight turns and reduces steering effort.

When maximum traction is needed, the rider can utilize Kawasaki’s Variable Front Differential Control by pulling a lever on the left handlebar to send power to both front wheels. This is a definite advantage for riders encountering deep mud and slippery uphill trails or when traversing over large objects such as logs or rocks.

The cutting-edge Kawasaki Brute Force 650 4x4 braking system design is a combination of dual front disc brakes with dual-piston calipers and Kawasaki’s sealed, oil-bathed, multi-disc rear brake system. As an integrated part of the shaft drive, the rear braking system is sealed in the aluminum swingarm where it operates in an oil bath. This protects the brake from mud, dust and debris, and is virtually maintenance-free.

Enhancing the high-performance brakes is the Kawasaki Engine Brake Control system, which electronically monitors ground speed and uses the engine’s compression to help slow the Brute Force ATV under certain conditions.

Plush and controlled rides are Kawasaki ATV forte and the Brute Force 650 4x4 exemplifies this specialty. It does this with a MacPherson strut front suspension with 6.7 inches of travel and an aluminum swingarm featuring a shock with adjustable preload, a piggy-back reservoir and 7.2 inches of travel for the rear suspension duties.

Additional comfort is provided by a large seat and adjustable footpegs mounted atop full-size floorboards. To help reduce unsprung weight and further enhance the smooth ride, the Brute Force rolls on aluminum wheels.

The modern, aggressively angled lines and high gloss appearance of the Thermoplastic Olefin scratch-resistant bodywork are complemented by bright cat-eye headlights. The fully digital instrumentation includes speedometer, odometer, dual resettable trip meters, clock, hour meter, fuel gauge and 2x4/4x4 indicators.

Leading the conveniences on the Brute Force 650 Kawasaki ATV is a DC power outlet to provide quick and easy power for electrical accessories. A space inside the front guard easily accommodates a 3,000-pound capacity winch from Warn or Superwinch.

The front and rear steel racks on the Brute Force 650 4x4 can carry a total of 264 pounds of cargo; a hitch bracket enables the ATV to tow up to 1,250 pounds. Owners can expand the versatility of their Brute Force ATV via the extensive line of Authentic Kawasaki Accessories, available through Kawasaki dealers.

2011 Kawasaki ATV Brute Force 750:

2011 Kawasaki Brute Force 750
2011 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 4x4i:

Fuel injected V-twin power and 4x4 muscle

Power and versatility — these qualities make the Kawasaki Brute Force 750 4x4i ATV a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts, farmers and ranchers. Whether accessing rough terrain, taming a bumpy trail ride, or hauling feed around the ranch, this Kawasaki ATV is a great all-around performer. Its A-arm front and independent rear suspensions cushion the rider, while boosting control and maneuverability for this muscular V-twin ATV flagship.

A powerful four-stroke fuel-injected 749cc V-twin powers the Brute Force 750 4x4i. The twin cylinders are fed via 36mm throttle bodies that are controlled by a 32-bit CPU. The system monitors coolant temperature, air intake temperature, air intake pressure, throttle position, vehicle speed and crankshaft angle to deliver the optimum fuel mixture. Instantaneous fuel delivery and crisp engine response help make the eight-valve engine a hit with sport riders.

The high-pressure fuel pump is located inside the tank with a unique reservoir chamber at the bottom to help ensure air does not get into the fuel system. Despite the big power from the engine, a light feel at the throttle lever helps reduce rider fatigue. This is achieved via utilizing a low spring rate for the throttle return springs and ball bearings in the throttle bodies. Keeping things cool is its high-efficiency radiator, mounted high in the chassis for optimum shielding from mud and debris. Mated to the V-twin engine is a fully automatic, dual-range continuously variable transmission (CVT) with low or high range, and reverse.

Two- or four-wheel drive operation is selectable by simply pressing a button on the handlebar. In four-wheel drive mode, the Brute Force Kawasaki ATV utilizes a limited-slip front differential, which eases steering effort under most riding conditions. The rider can manage the amount of power to both front wheels with Kawasaki’s Variable Front Differential Control by using a small control lever on the left handlebar. It’s a definite advantage when traversing deep mud, slippery uphill trails or large logs or rocks.

The front drive shafts of the 750 4x4i feature an industry first — Cardan joints. Similar to U-joints, Cardan joints help absorb torque fluctuations to the drive shaft, and the lightweight design helps to reduce vibration. The small and compact rear final gear case and sealed rear braking system are extremely rugged and efficient.

Completely sealed, the rear braking system’s components are protected from mud, dust and debris. Its compact size also provides more ground clearance than a conventional rear disc brake system. The sealed rear brake and dual front discs bring the Brute Force 750 4x4i to a quick halt. Enhancing the highly effective braking is the Kawasaki Engine Brake Control, which helps slow the ATV under certain conditions.

The Brute Force 750 4x4i uses a simple, yet sturdy double-cradle tubular steel frame with front dual A-arms and IRS. The front dual A-arms feature adjustable shocks with 6.7 inches of travel, while the IRS employs a leading torsion bar and provides 7.9 inches of travel. A combination of needle bearings and ball joints in the lower rear A-arms gives the IRS unrivaled suspension action, stability and excellent rider comfort.

Dual-rate springs for the front and rear suspension on the Brute Force 750 4x4i mean ride comfort and sport performance go hand-in-hand. For bumps at slower speeds, the initial spring rate is soft and as the springs are further compressed, a firmer second rate — to handle higher speeds — comes into play. Complementing the suspension, the firm urethane seat foam is supportive yet comfortable for long hours in the saddle.

An upright and comfortable rider position enhances the rider’s ability to interact with the Brute Force 750 4x4i, scan the horizon and the easy to read automotive-style instrument panel. Its front bumper is designed for easily manhandling the Brute Force when the need arises. Behind the bumper is the tough and scratch-resistant Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) angular bodywork.

Underneath this strong bodywork is a factory-installed plastic conduit for easy winch installation. The stunning appearance continues with head-turning polished 12-inch wheels. Mounted with aggressive tires, the wheels help give the Kawasaki ATV its 9.7 inches of ground clearance and transfer the awesome power of the V-twin engine to the ground.

The chassis balance is further optimized by the large five-gallon fuel tank beneath the seat. Keeping the weight in check are aluminum footpegs on the full-sized floorboards and lightweight cargo racks that can carry a combined weight of 264 pounds.

The capable Brute Force 750 4x4i can also tow a hefty 1,250 pounds — all it needs is a standard hitch ball. Other features include the waterproof storage box in the left front fender and a storage compartment in the right front fender. Owners can expand the versatility of the Brute Force with a variety of Authentic Kawasaki Accessories available through Kawasaki dealers.

2011 Kawasaki ATV Prairie 360:

2011 Kawasaki Prairie 360
2011 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4X4:

Dependable all-terrain performer

An all-around contender in the mid-sized category, the Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4 ATV helps you handle business and fun. Whether you’re hauling firewood or exploring the wilderness, this capable Kawasaki ATV is a solid choice. Its dependable air-cooled four-stroke single cylinder engine, Kawasaki Automatic Powerdrive System with engine brake control, and variable locking front differential control combine to deliver the power and stability users seek in a practical off-road machine.

This reasonably priced ATV features a 362cc engine with a continuously variable transmission with high, low and reverse gears. Its reliable shaft drive requires minimal maintenance. Suspension duties are ably handled by the MacPherson strut front suspension and a preload adjustable rear shock.

If additional traction is needed, the rider can send power to all four wheels at the flip of a switch. A limited-slip front differential helps keep steering light and precise, even in four-wheel drive. In extreme conditions, the rider can use Kawasaki’s Variable Front Differential Control lever to send power to both front wheels. Once maximum traction is no longer needed, the rider simply releases the lever — a simple and effective system.

Stopping power on the Prairie 360 4x4 is provided by a combination of dual front disc brakes and Kawasaki’s sealed, oil-bathed, multi-disc rear brake system. Further speed control is provided by the Kawasaki Engine Brake Control, which uses engine compression and CVT belt pressure to help slow the ATV under certain conditions.

The MacPherson strut front suspension and a single-shock aluminum swingarm rear suspension give the Prairie 360 4x4 a supple ride with 6.7 and 7.1 inches of travel front and rear, respectively. A large, comfortable saddle and full-sized floorboards with adjustable footpegs further maximize rider comfort.

Its steel front and rear cargo racks can carry a combined weight of 242 pounds. 2011 Kawasaki ATV Mule:

2011 Kawasaki Mule 600

2011 Kawasaki Mule 610 XC
2011 Kawasaki Mule 610 4x4 XC:

Hybrid Design Lets XC Go Where No Mule Has Gone Before

For more than two decades you’ve trusted Kawasaki Mule utility vehicles to help you get more work done more easily than ever. But Kawasaki also offers a more dirt-worthy Mule design for those who like to venture a bit farther from the jobsite – the 2011 Kawasaki Mule 610 4x4 XC. If the XC designation makes you think ‘cross country,’ well, you’d be right on target, for this Mule looks like it’s had a serious dose of Kawasaki Teryx off-road DNA injected into its flanks.

The primary visual giveaway is the Mule XC’s aggressive, 26-inch Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 radial tires, each of which is mounted on a 12-inch wheel for a higher degree of off-road ability. But there’s also a load of features designed to complement the XC’s more aggressive nature and infuse it with a large helping of what can only be described as cool factor.

The standard Mule 610 4x4 can go just about anywhere, but the new 4x4 XC takes that functionality quite a few steps further. Not only do those burly 26-inch Maxxis tires provide loads more traction, their extra width increases the Mule’s track by 1.3 inches. Their greater height also gives this Mule a full 8.1 inches of ground clearance. Combined with longer front and rear suspension, this helps the Mule climb over larger obstacles, while standard skid plates protect vital systems.

When designing the XC, Kawasaki ATV engineers made room for those large tires by kicking the Mule’s front bumper forward 1.2 inches. And while they were at it, the team added sporty graphics, a comfortable seat covered in a pliable material and a small-diameter sport steering wheel lifted straight from the Kawasaki Teryx.

In spite of its wide-ranging capabilities and radical design, you can be sure of the XC’s reliable and economical drivetrain. A durable, 401cc fan-cooled overhead-valve engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) feeds power to all four wheels as needed, and simple automotive controls mean it couldn’t be much easier to operate. An enrichening system partially opens the throttle for easy engine starts, hot or cold, and the Mule can be started in forward (Hi or Lo) or reverse gear, provided the brake pedal is applied. Select 2WD or 4WD and away you go.

MacPherson strut front suspension and rack-and-pinion steering combine great bump absorption with light handling, while the Mule’s mid-engine layout and swingarm rear suspension provide plentiful traction in back. A powerful braking system brings it all to a reliable halt.

As fun as it looks, the XC is all about hard work. A special black-texture paint applied to its 400-pound-capacity all-steel tilting cargo bed allows even greater aesthetics and durability, while a 1,100-pound towing capacity means you can haul whatever gear you need. Dual cup holders help keep riders hydrated while on the clock, a capacious glove box can carry more than just gloves, and the front hood pops open to reveal more than 12 gallons worth of storage. Popular accessories include an enclosed cab, snow plow, winch and soft or hard tops, all available through Kawasaki dealers.

2010 Kawasaki ATVs KXF450R:

2010 KXF450R

The Kawasaki KFX450R fourwheelers are the flagship of all Kawasaki ATVs in the sport category! Sitting low to the ground on its adjustable suspension with long front A-arms, the Kawasaki KFX450R employs a lightweight and strong aluminium frame and five-speed transmission with reverse to harness the power from its fuel-injected, electric-start engine. Its impressive power and handling allows riders to maximize their performance on the track or in the woods.

The race-ready, high performance credentials of the KFX450R fourwheelers begin with a powerplant that’s based on Kawasaki’s highly acclaimed KX450F motocross engine. It’s fitted with an efficient and highly-responsive 32-bit digital fuel injection (DFI) system that automatically compensates for temperature or altitude. DFI also enhances the KFX450R’s ability to translate its four-stroke power into outstanding thrust, with easily accessible torque in the low and medium rpm ranges. A lightweight titanium exhaust header pipe and a durable forged piston further refine this 449cc engine’s usability and longevity.

The fast and reliable Kawasaki KFX450R also includes a lightweight reverse gear system integrated with its five-speed manual transmission. The KFX450R’s reverse gear allows riders to quickly and easily extricate themselves from first turn chaos, trail bottlenecks or any other on-track incident.

Built to handle tough trail conditions and win races, the Kawasaki KFX450R's lightweight all-aluminium frame has both incredible stiffness and significant strength. The high-tech chassis also provides a low center of gravity and excellent roll resistance for higher corner speeds and race-level handling.

The front suspension design utilizes long lower A-arms mounted to a single box-section lower frame tube and paired with dual-rate front springs for excellent rough-terrain handling. In the rear, an adjustable shock with low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping adjustability is mated to a cast aluminium swingarm that offers the ideal balance of flexibility and rigidity. Regardless of track surfaces or conditions, this race-oriented Kawasaki ATVs chassis makes the KFX450R a potent weapon.

The Kawasaki KFX450R is easy to work on, so owners can spend more time in the dirt than in the garage. The two-piece front and rear “lapped” fenders make it easier to customize the size of the fenders or quickly replace damaged sections. Even the headlight assembly is quickly detachable for closed-course races—these fourwheelers look just as aggressive with or without headlights. These features leave little doubt that the KFX450R was designed to be on the track and winning races as quickly as possible.
